Piantanida Gioielli
was born from the sixth sense and the creativity of
a young businessman of Valenza grown in the shadow of
a family tradition created by his grandfather, who started
manufacturing ovens and equipments for goldsmithery
and then sold end products. |
The company
came into being in a commercial and historical
background where Valenza secular tradition as
a world leading producer of handmade jewelry was
renowned from New York to Paris as well as from
Milan to Tokyo.
In 1840 Vincenzo Morosetti was the creator of
one of the most important artisan traditions that
brought the goldsmith industry to develop both
technically and commercially, imposing on the
market the fashion dictates of important names
such as Cartier, Bulgari and Rolex. Before the
First World War Valenza could already take pride
in forty new firms and today, after 167 years,
goldsmith’s art boasts 1300 laboratories
with 7000 workers and 221 small and medium industries
that during the years have received the prestigious
designation of “Artisan Excellence”.

deep-rooted tradition known all over the world, through
the new means of communication available and the telematics.
